Breakthrough Objective 1--Spirit of  Worship and Joy

Priority Actions

1.  Define, plan, and implement a blended worship service by 2010, review, and revise annually thereafter.

2.  Provide excellence in worship that enlivens the spirit and enriches the mind on an on-going basis.

3.  Develop a phased plan for improved use of technology for worship by 2010, with full implementation by 2014

4.  Provide multiple, diverse worship experiences correlated to congregational growth and attendance.

 

Breakthrough Objective 2--Spirit of Generosity and Participation

Priority Actions

1.  Implement a comprehensive stewardship program by 2010, update annually.  100% participation in generosity of time, talent, and treasure by 2014.

2.  Develop and implement life cycle of giving program.

3.  Maintain funds directed toward mission and community benevolence at 10% of our annual budget through 2014.

4.  Create and fund a congregational benevolence program by 2011.

5.  Every member and regular attendee volunteers four hours/month to ministry by 2014.

6.  Grow pledge and plate contributions.

 

Breakthrough Objective 3--Spirit of Love and Welcome

Priority Actions

1.  Achieve membership and attendance (more) representative of the St. Petersburg demographics (gender, race, and age) by 2014.

2.  Create an on-going physical, social, and spiritual environment that facilitates a sense of welcome, love, and belonging for our GLBTQS community,.

3.  Develop and implement an on-going education program in support of the transgender community by 2010.

4.  Develop and implement a volunteer recognition program by 2010.

5.  Create a safe space and supportive culture for gay youth for 2014.

6.  Develop and implement a multi-media, marketing, and outreach program by 2010.

 

Breakthrough Objective 4--Spirit of Growth and Development

Priority Actions

1.  Implement a leadership development program by 2010.

2.  Develop and implement a spiritual and personal enrichment program for the congregation by 2010.

3.  Develop and implement a personal enrichment program for the congregation and community by 2013.

4. 100% of members and regular attendees will complete a spiritual development course by 2012.

5.  Educate the congregation in religious and cultural diversity by 2013.

6.  Implement outreach/social programs to enhance positive congregational and community relationships by 2012.

7.  Implement a conflict resolution and management program by 2011.
