Writer’s Workshop
Dates: May 2, 9, 16, 23
The goal of this class is to affirm creativity as a gift from God.  Come to a safe accepting environment to share or just to listen.  In this class, participants will have the opportunity to gather resources, learn tips, practice skill exercises and to share writing.  We will share our creative writing gifts within our church. 

Caregiving with Excellence
Dates: May 2, 9, 16, 23
This class if for those of us who are caregivers for those we love.  
There will be a short overview of the affects of aging and we will research resources available to help caregivers and those who are aging. Most importantly, we will discover ways to support ourselves as we care for those we love.

City Mix with Metro Wellness
Date: May 5
At City MIX you will have the opportunity to see how other individuals feel and deal with similar issues you may be experiencing and find out the answers to those questions you have always wanted to ask, in a fun and safe environment.  This is a FREE Lunch and a discussion about everything from sex, dating & relationships, HIV/AIDS, and the current political & social issues revolving around the LGBTQ Community.

Cinco de Mayo... Part Dos

Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo... AGAIN!  The Programming Team is so pleased to present a time of great food, fellowship, and fun.  Bring a favorite Mexican dish to share and join with others as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

Gardening 101
Date: May 11 (10:00am)
Learn and help to grow food for yourself and our community in small spaces utilizing open spaces of 3ft. wide by 4ft high! In this class we will build eight vertical gardens that will feed two families of four for a Whole year!

Body Prayer

The purpose of this class is to explore and develop a personal understanding of how to connect with God, using out whole bodies.  By melding scripture, song, and story, we will pray with movement both individually and in groups to discover how to develop a deeper relationship with God, while mixing-up out prayer life. 

Bowling
Date: May 17
Come bowling with us!!  We will be taking our trip to Ten Pin Lanes in Pasadena at 6:30 as we join with each other in fellowship, community, and friendly competition in a loving, fun environment.  The cost is only $3.50/person/game.  Meet at Ten Pin Lanes 6:15 so we can begin getting teams together.  The address is: 1453 Pasadena Avenue South, South Pasadena, FL 33707.

A.C.T.S. (A Church Through Spirit)

Happy Birthday Church!  We will take a journey through the book of Acts in four weeks by looking at the basics of such an important book of the New Testament.  Through our in-depth look, we will find the significance of this 1st century text to our 21st century lives... and discover how our church fits in!

Have you thought about drawing?  Here, you will learn fun doodle/noodle designs, basic shapes and forms, drawing value to crete a 3-D look, upside down drawing and drawing Mannequin Men.   FREE!  Bring a good positive attitude!

Whether you are 25, 65, or any other number on the age continuum, join us to learn what you can do to increase the likelihood of living a happy, healthy, fulfilling life into your sixties, seventies, eighties, and beyond!  Individual lifestyle choices have been proven to play a greater role than genetics, wealth, race or any other factors in MASTERING MATURITY and living successfully in later life.

Homo & the Bible

“What does the Bible really say about homosexuality?”  That’s a question voiced so often in the LGBT community.  Pastor Candace will be our guide through the Old and New Testaments.  Come.  Bring your questions and learn what the scriptures REALLY say!

Juneteenth Celebration

June 19, 1863 forever changed the United States forever!  But, what happened?  Come find out as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the end of slavery.  Through dramatic reading, gospel music, and a soul food buffet, we get to celebrate each other and our freedom.
